I placed a catering order for a group of 60+ ppl. The food was EXCELLENT and I did not receive one complaint. Several attendees even went back for seconds. I ordered the chicken riganato (roasted chicken), rice, Greek salad, and assorted dessert trays. The food was delivered on time and hot. Everything was set up for us, we just had to have the food tables ready and warmers (chafing kits) if you choose to use them. The food was very hot so using warmers is optional. The next time I host an event in Macon, I will order from Papouli's Mediterranean again.

Today I tasted the cilantro hummus and a small Mediterranean salad. The hummus was green and it had a lot of kick as well as flavor. It came with two slices of pita bread. All I can say is wow! The hummus was delicious. Absolutely delicious. And the portion size was just right. It wasn't too small or too great. It was a perfect lunch size portion. The Mediterranean salad was excellent. It's hard to explain this one because I'm usually eating fast food or soul food and not these types of dishes. But it was bursting with flavor and it tastes clean. Like really good for you. All natural ingredients with minimal processing. Just a dash of lemon juice and natural herbs. I mean the dish tasted like it could clear up your acne, improve your eyesight, speed up your metabolism and make your hair and nails grow stronger. Lol.. it just tasted super healthy and it was good. Very good. I'm not use to a great tasting healthy dish. Both dishes were wonderful and I will certainly be back. I seriously think this restaurant is major underrated. People sleep on the wrong restaurants. This is one of the star's of Macon GA. It ain't chickfila. It's places like this that cook super healthy, flavorful food that willl keep the weight off while also maintaining flavor that people should be flocking to.

SOOOOO good! Papouli's has become one of my go-to restaurants in Macon since our son at Mercer son introduced us. Everything is so fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Prices are just right. I need to branch out and try more dishes, but I can't resist the vegan Fattoush Salad. I'll be back soon!

We've stopped by here randomly a few times over the years when passing through Macon and just did again this past week. It'd been probably 7 years and we'd forgotten about it but then it all came back how good this place is! Everything is high quality from the soup to the platters to the desserts and the spanakopita is the best anywhere! Highly recommended and worthwhile pitstop!

Excellent, authentic, and fresh mediterranean food. We enjoyed baba ganoush with pita, spanikopita with Greek fries (so yummy topped with fresh oregano herb blend) and Greek salad, and the Fattoush salad with yummy falafel. Nice market atmosphere that was cool and clean. Staff was friendly and we were served in about 5 min! So fast! Lots of food! Fresh and vibrant flavor!

Great staff, same as the great food. Authentic- with good portions and always a polite voice and smile.

I travel to Macon about once a month and hit this place every time. I've jumped around the menu and have never been disappointed. I'm glad that they've recently added a points program. They have an area to eat out front which could be nice but there are pigeons uncomfortably close in the rafters above. They put up something to keep them from perching directly above you but I still don't trust those nasty things. I tried it once and just couldn't keep looking up to make sure those things left me alone. The area isn't great either so I experienced lots of loud "music" from cars visiting neighboring stores. I saw that they had an Alpharetta location that unfortunately is no more as I'd love to eat there when I'm not traveling. But, I'm sure I'll continue to eat here during all of my future visits to the area.
